Dock Rats / 12.10.2026
The rat on the back, the colour across the chest or a small detail that makes a plain T-shirt feel like yours: the print is part of why you chose it. Before it joins the laundry, check what that particular garment needs.
Read the label first
Start with the garment label and product care information. They account for more than fibre content, including construction and print. GINETEX explains that the number inside the washing symbol is the maximum permitted temperature; a bar underneath indicates a gentler process. Check the GINETEX care-symbol guide if a symbol is unclear.
Do not apply one washing temperature to every cotton item or every product from the same brand. If two instructions appear to conflict, ask before washing.
Look after the printed area
For DTG and DTFlex prints, Printful recommends cold, gentle washing inside out and avoiding direct ironing on the print. These are instructions for particular print types, not every Dock Rats product. Read Printful's care guidance alongside the instructions for your item.
Before starting the machine, check pockets and whether the chosen programme suits everything in the load. A short, repeatable check is easier to keep up than a complicated routine.
Check drying separately
Machine-washable does not tell you how to dry a garment. Find its drying symbol or written instructions and choose a permitted method that works at home. This is useful to know before buying if you usually tumble-dry everything.
Unpack the training bag
Keep clean changing clothes separate from the worn set. When unpacking, assess each item instead of treating the whole bag alike. Return the T-shirt to your wardrobe once it is dry, and fold it so you can recognise the design without disturbing the whole stack.
Keep the information
A photo of the label makes the instructions easy to find again. If they are missing, contact us with the product name. Browse graphic T-shirts and read fit, material and care details before choosing your next one.
