Technical - Shorts

Technical Shorts belong to the part of kayak life that happens on land. Repeated movements, shared sessions and the work between outings on the water. We want that part of the wardrobe to feel like Dock Rats too. The look is simple and easy to combine with the rest of your training clothes. It is about bringing your own sport and your own community into the session.

Technical Shorts are Dock Rats training shorts made from 91% recycled polyester and 9% spandex. At 174 g/m², the fabric is a light option for strength training, warm-ups and active days at the club.

Spandex adds stretch, while the simple Dock Rats design works with a base layer or Heavy Lifting Technical Tee. They provide a technical-fabric alternative to everyday shorts in your training bag. Pair them according to the session and the fit you prefer.

Fit and choosing a size

Use the product-specific chart and compare with shorts you already own. The table shows the garment measured flat, with possible variation of approximately 2.5 cm. Choose by the measurements rather than assuming every Dock Rats model has the same sizing.

Pair with your preferred training top

Technical Shorts work alongside two different types of training top: a close base layer or a more relaxed mesh tee. The shorts contain spandex, but size choice should still come from measurements and the amount of room you prefer.

Are Technical Shorts made entirely from polyester?
